The difference of PE pipe and PPR pipe

Under normal use, the high stable temperature of PE water pipe is 70℃, and the low temperature is -30℃. That is to say, in this temperature range, long-term use of PE water pipes is safe and reliable. Under normal conditions of use, the high stable temperature of PP-R water pipe is 70℃, and the low temperature is -10℃, which also shows that long-term use of PP-R water pipe is safe and reliable within this temperature range. It is concluded that PE water pipe and PP-R water pipe have the same high temperature resistance. But the low temperature performance of PE water pipe is better than PP-R water pipe.
The main chemical molecular component of PE water pipe is polyethylene, and the main component of PP-R water pipe is propylene. As long as the raw materials used by the enterprise can meet the requirements, those two products are almost with the same of hygiene and safety. There is no basis for propagating that PE pipes are more hygienic than PP-R pipes . All qualified PE water pipe and PP-R water pipe products must pass the sanitary inspection. To say that PE water pipes are more hygienic and safer than PP-R water pipes is also a deception to consumers.
Both PP-R water pipes and PE water pipes are can be welded by heat, PP-R water pipes are easier to operate,.PP-R water pipes are rounded, and PE water pipes are irregular and easy to block; the welding temperature is also different.The temperature of PP-R water pipe is 260°C, and for PE water pipe is 230°C. Because of the PE water pipe material is easy to oxidize, special tools must be used to scrape off the surface oxide scale before welding, otherwise a true integrated pipeline cannot be formed, and the pipeline is prone to water leakage, so the construction is more complicate.
