PE steel belt reinforced spiral corrugated pipe construction steps: slotting-down pipe-connection-backfill

1. Slotting of steel belt reinforced polyethylene spiral corrugated pipes

1. The pipeline should be laid on the original ground or the compacted ground after slotting. When the pipeline is under the carriageway, the thickness of the top soil of the pipe must be greater than 0.7m. The groove width is better based on the outer diameter of the pipe plus 0.6m.

2. When the pipeline passes through obstacles such as railways and highways, protective sleeves made of reinforced concrete, steel, cast iron and other materials should be installed.

3. During the rainy season, make the tank as much as possible, and fill it back as soon as possible. Once the tank is drained, the water should be drained, and the bubbled soil should be thrown out and replaced with sand and stone.

4. The pipeline adopts sand cushion layer, generally 10 cm sand cushion layer, which is below the groundwater level, and a 20 cm sand gravel foundation should be laid.

Second, PE steel belt reinforced spiral corrugated pipe down pipe and connection

1. For socket installation, the socket should be installed in the downstream direction and in the countercurrent direction from the low point to the high point.

2. The pipeline installation should be manual installation, the length can be cut by hand saw, but the section should be vertical and flat.

3. When working on the interface, the inner (outer) working surface of the socket (socket) should be cleaned, and the center of the socket should correspond to the center line of the floor.

4. When the socket is inserted into the socket, put a wooden baffle on the end of the pipe, use a crowbar to insert the pipeline along the axis into the socket, and install it in sequence one by one. It is strictly forbidden to use construction machinery to directly insert into the socket.

5. Extrusion hot-melt connection is generally used. Both ends are heated by special extrusion welding tools and welding rods to make them melt into a whole. Be sure to align when welding. Leave 1-3mm gap at the welding port for easy welding. The special polyethylene material manufactured with pipe diameter greater than 800mm is welded inside and outside.

6. When the socket adopts socket electric hot melt, the special tools provided by the manufacturer should be used and guided by the technical staff.

3. The connection between the pipeline and the inspection well The flexible connection is used. When the requirements are not high, the pipe is directly built into the well wall

4. Air and water closed test

The tightness test of the pipeline shall be carried out after the bottom of the pipe and the extruded axillary angle are backfilled with sand, and the closed water and closed air test shall be selected according to the site conditions.

5. Backfill of steel belt reinforced polyethylene spiral corrugated pipe

1. The pipeline should be backfilled immediately after passing the installation. For trench backfilling, symmetrical backfilling should be done from both sides of the pipeline, inspection well and other structures at the same time, and necessary limiting measures should be taken to ensure that the structures are not displaced.

2. From the base of the pipe bottom to the top of the pipe 0.7m, it must be manually backfilled. For parts above 0.7m, it can be backfilled from both sides of the pipe axis with machinery, tamping and rolling.

The advantages of steel belt reinforced polyethylene spiral construction:

1. No concrete pipe foundation is needed during use, and it can be excavated, piped down, and backfilled, which greatly shortens the construction period and reduces construction costs.

2. The groove width of the pipeline is reduced by 20% compared with other pipes, and there is no need to slant the wall, which greatly reduces the amount of construction earthwork, saves labor, reduces the difficulty of construction and labor intensity.

3. The pipeline is buried underground. Due to the joint action of the pipe and soil, the pressure resistance of the pipe can be improved. The pipeline backfill must be constructed according to the requirements.

PE steel belt reinforced polyethylene spiral corrugated pipe adopts U-shaped steel belt composite PE material, so that the pipe material can greatly improve the ring stiffness without increasing the cost. Under the same weight, the strength is greatly improved compared with the winding tube and the carat tube. It can solve a series of problems such as heavy load, and the advantages of large-diameter pipes are more obvious. At present, the diameter of production pipes is from DN300mm to DN2400mm, and the ring stiffness is kept above 8KN / m2, which is lighter and stronger than cement pipes and other plastic pipes.

The compounding of the layers is carried out in the molten state of the plastic; it is completely different from the secondary melting of the winding tube (hollow wall tube), so the layers are completely bonded and the fastness is very high.

The surface of the steel strip is specially pre-treated to enhance the corrosion resistance of the steel and the adhesion between the steel and the plastic, and improve the peel strength. When the plastic material is fully melted, it is wound and formed, and the overall structure of the pipe is firm and reliable. Due to the use of special materials and processes, both the corrosion resistance of the steel plate and the adhesion between the steel plate and the PE material are solved, so that the service life of the pipeline is the same as that of the pure plastic pipeline, and it is guaranteed for more than 50 years.

It can be used with electrothermal fusion connection, heat shrinkable tape connection, internal and external extrusion welding or a combination of multiple connections, and the connection is firm. Reliable connection can make the pipeline reach zero leakage.

Compared with other plastic pipes of the same diameter and ring stiffness, steel belt reinforced polyethylene (PE) spiral bellows can save nearly half of the material cost. Polyethylene only accounts for 2/3 of the total weight of the composite pipe; Under the circumstances, this is a very good solution for reducing material costs.

The ring stiffness achieved when the thin steel strip is pressed into steel ribs far exceeds the effect produced by the very thick polyethylene structural layer. Proper design of the thickness and height of the steel ribs can easily achieve the required ring stiffness. The function of polyethylene in the metal-reinforced winding structure wall tube is corrosion resistance and wear resistance. Therefore, there are not many materials for the steel ribs in the metal-reinforced winding structure wall tube, and there is no need for polyethylene.
